The ride will test the resolve, determination and fitness of everyone who will be part of it. It will be the true test of pace, stamina, power and friendship. There is no ride within the UK like RAUK, that will match the distance, terrain and continuousness. It will be the ultimate test of an individuals spirit from beginning to end.

This Ain’t No Tour

RAUK is a continual Challenge. Once the clock starts it does not stop until the finish line.

RAUK is open to anyone to compete and there are no mandated or qualifying competitions. Entrants will have deemed to have successfully completed the ride if they finish before the stipulated Finish Time. Solo riders should expect to ride 250-350 miles a day and will need to balance speed and the need for rest.

Team or Solo?

There are 2-, 4- and 8- Person relay teams. The workload may be split up any way the teammates choose, however changeovers between riders will be in designated locations. Solo is just that - one person travels the entire distance. Whether team or solo you must have a support crew following you. The support crew will handle all of the logistics – food, fluids, navigation, clothing changes, medical needs, bike repairs, etc. - so that riders can focus on riding.

Why compete in RAUK?

It is hoped that people will ride RAUK simply to have fun and challenge themselves. Other reasons might include raising money for a charitable cause, setting a record, seeing the country or just spending time with friends.

Whatever the reason, RAUK will be an incredible journey across a beautiful country! No-one involved in RAUK will walk away unmoved by their achievement.

Riding for Charitable Causes

RAUK will be an outstanding platform for raising money for charitable causes.

It is hoped that Ride Across UK will become one of the countries top endurance cycling event.. Go on Challenge yourself you might surprise yourself!
